2014 Team Pages Launching Sunday Night

SEPT 15 — Gay Softball World Series games start in just over a week. Once again, we’ll be using myGSWS.com to give you quick access to all the game results.

Customized pages for each team will be launched at 11:59 pm, local Dallas time, on Sunday night.

Then, throughout the week, we’ll be adding results pages new for this year’s World Series:

* Pool Play Scores & Standings — Look at the results and standings from your team’s pool group all on the same page

* Double Elim Schedule & Results — A list of all double elimination games for each division, including the participating teams, the game time and location, plus the final score for completed games.

* Online Brackets — It’s no small feat to squish a 63-team bracket into the palm of your hand, but that’s exactly what we’ve done! You asked for it, and for the first time we’ll have all games shown in a traditional bracket format for all divisions.

Look for it all to launch beginning late-night Sunday.

New for Dallas 2014: Online Brackets

SEPT 7 — In addition to customized pages for each team, myGSWS.com is introducing online brackets and other features to help you get the most out of your Gay Softball World Series experience.

We’ve been relying on your input to improve myGSWS.com, and the feature you have asked for most is be able to see the tournament status in a traditional bracket format.

Over the next week or so, we’ll be configuring myGSWS.com and testing the system with mock results. During this time, results from previous tournaments may not be available.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at mygsws@gmail.com

GSWS Changes for 2013

2013 GSWS – Three Changes

There’s something new every year at the Gay Softball World Series. For 2013, however, there are three big changes you’re going to want to know about before you arrive. The player registration deadline is earlier in the week for all divisions, plus there is a slight modification to the tournament format for our larger divisions of play. In addition, bat testing will be conducted only at the Renaissance Downtown DC — no bat testing at the fields this year.

Click through to find out about all the details.

TULSA — May 24 — NAGAAA Cup is getting underway here this weekend, and you can follow along with up-to-date results on myGSWS.com. At last year’s Gay Softball World Series in the Twin Cities, Minnesota, NAGAAA launched a new game-tracking tool to allow players and fans to follow along with the latest game results.
