Pool play games cancelled.
B,C,D divisions will begin double elimination games on Wednesday at noon.
Masters and A Divisions will begin play on Thursday
All games will be played at Krieg park. Brackets will be posted later this evening.
12 NOON — UPDATE
Although we’ve tried to do everything possible to make the fields playable, there will be no games played today (Tuesday August 16). We will provide an update around 8:00pm tonight for tomorrow’s schedule.
Thank you very much to all of the volunteers that worked so hard on the fields this morning to try to get the fields into playable condition. We wouldn’t be NAGAAA without you!

10:00 AM — UPDATE: The 12:00 and 1:00 games at SE Metro will be rescheduled. Other changes will occur as we evaluate field conditions. Please be patient with us. We will update you again at approximately noon.
8:30 AM — From Assistant Commissioner Kevin Riddle: “We are in need of as many volunteers as possible to help us get Krieg Fields prepared for game play today. Please be at the park at 9:30am. We could use 30 to 40 people to help.”

From a post yesterday afternoon at the Austin 2016 Facebook page: “Tuesday ONLY registration has moved to the Hilton Hotel 4th floor Governor’s Ballroom from 9am-6pm.”

Jeff — What kind of info are you seeking? The latest update is that we’re trying to get a revised potential schedule out by about 8pm CT?
Hello, I got alerts on my phone, including “all pool play games cancelled” and yet when I check this site there are no updates or details refecting the alerts.
I’m sure this has already been discussed but I think there are turf softball fields in Austin that I’m sure holds off the water better if they are available but I’m not positive. Just a thought
And also if anyone knows anyone with a helicopter that would be willing to come to the fields to blow all the rain off that would be great
Question…so is the A division still having pool play games? Or is elimination starting Thursday for them as well? I’m asking because Dallas family wants to come for the day and can’t decide on when would be best for them to come.
In an effort to provide an equal tournament across divisions, ALL pool play games for ALL divisions are being cancelled. We’ll go directly into Double Elimination when we’re able to get the tournament started.
